Tina grew up in a patriarchal Indian household with strict rules and consequences in London, England. Seeking to quiet her mind and find peace from her past, she began practicing yoga in 1996.

Yoga became a life-changing journey for Tina, leading to awakening moments that helped her develop clarity, focus, and resilience against the traumas and negativities of her past.

Inspired by these experiences, she became a yoga teacher and a Reiki Master, with the goal of helping others navigate everyday challenges and release past traumas through the practice of Connect to Self Yoga.
